“Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.”
To say I'm not a writer would be an understatement. For me writing has never come naturally and i'm sure many designers and engineers can relate to this. I've spent most of my adult life grappling with complex technical concepts which often require lots of peripheral research to fully understand the intent, time to contemplate / reflect to build understanding, and build a model to put your understanding to the test. For me communicating with others is verbal or visual, writing typically a last resort which probably goes some way to explaining why both my grammar and spelling have 'room for improvement'.
That said life is about expanding personal boundaries, building mutually beneficial relationships, challenging inequality, and seeking balance so I'm happy to explore my weaknesses.
The intention is to use this blog as a repository of knowledge, experience and understanding of everything from art to zymology.
